Senior editor and columnist, The Jerusalem Report, 1990 to present: I was one of the founding editors of the award-winning biweekly magazine, which covers Israel, the Middle East and the Jewish world for an international audience. I am editor of the opinion section and write a column on political, religious and cultural issues. A key topic in my work has been the role of messianic, or millennial, thinking in Israeli politics and religion.
Contributor: I write regularly for The New Republic, and for the Hebrew daily Ha'aretz. My articles have also appeared in The New York Times, Los Angeles Times, the Washington Post, and other U.S. publications.
