A silly proposal by a psychologist that the tenets of Skinnerian
behaviorism might profitably be applied to "superstitious"
behavior (e.g., magic, rituals, etc.) Superstition seems to mean
ignorance of intervening variables as found in pigeons [and behaviorists].
